Reporting to the Managing Director, you will develop your sector, while providing regular updates, insightful market intelligence, and detailed customer analyses to enhance strategic decision-making.

As a pivotal member of a dynamic sales team, you will be responsible for implementing strategic sales plans within your area of accountability while acting as the critical link between customers and internal teams. Your duties will include customer engagement, co-ordinating sales partners and representing the company at industry events across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business growth by securing new and repeat business within the Fresh Produce Processing and Packing Industry.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning products and services to meet their specific needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, product demonstrations, and after-sales support.
  • Represent the company at UK and international exhibitions, maintaining the high standards of the brand.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to maximize opportunities and deliver outstanding results.
  • Develop and agree on business plans with the senior management team, providing regular updates.
  • Keep senior management informed of activities and developments through detailed reports and plans.

Person Profile:

  • Established and demonstrable career success in selling high-value equipment and solutions within a customer centric environment (minimum of 5 years).
  • Knowledge of tendering processes and requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic-level work experience with an ability to influence and negotiate at the highest level.
  • Experience in a similar technical or engineering field would be desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT-related tools.
  • Professional approach to customer relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
  • A passion for innovation and customer success
